Our Society first met in the spring of 1990. Our first club president was the esteemed Judge Don Fretz, who is still an active member and mentor. We held our first annual Camellia Show in February of 1991. Every year since then, we have held a show and plant sale the first weekend of February! Camellia enthusiasts come from as far away as Sacramento to compete against the cream of Napa Valley Camellia growers!
We hold monthly meetings during the Camellia growing season at the Napa Senior Center on the second Monday of the month (October through April). Our meetings are open to the public and include a raffle. Our programs include talks by camellia experts and hands on demonstrations. To see what we are doing this year, browse to our Meetings page.
